Why did you become a physician/provider? Being a nurse practitioner allows me the autonomy to assist and advocate for my patients in making the best choices for their health care needs. It also provides opportunities for advancing my research in the field of medicine.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about? I am passionate about providing dignified, quality care to patients in all stages and walks of life.
Why did you choose your specialty? I chose family medicine because it provides an opportunity to build relationships with my patients. This leads to better communication and ultimately, better outcomes.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients? Compassionate and patient-centered.
Personal Interests: I like to spend time with my family, my husband and our animals. I also enjoy playing video games, reading and camping.
